El Pòsit

Our waiters Albert and Joel were amazing; very professional, kind, calm, and welcoming. The food was good with a lovely view over the port. They should definitely put fans outside because the flies were very very irritating. Other than that it was a good experience.

Top food and venue, traditional Mediterranean food (rices, salads, salmorejos, etc) with an original twist withiuy losing the essence. Deserts were amazing- and I’m not a huge desert person. I would have had more , such as the “torrija” we saw in a neighbour table. It was packed on a Tuesday in late October at lunch time, so that says it all (the rest of restaurants were empty). Especially grateful to Joel, extremely helpful and knowledgeable. His recommendations were spot on - the other couple of waiters were a bit lost, as we had to ask for our Vichys a few of times.

Great food and atmosphere, their special Posit-seafood platter-is fabulous. Posit also carries their own wine which is very good and local. Both a MUST to try. Also, their service is very professional- I have to mention Samir who was our waiter several times. He is amazing! Posit El Serrallo is worth the visit.

El Pòsit is definitely one of the best restaurants in the El Serrallo neighborhood of Tarragona. Fantastic quality of products and execution, with lovely Catalan fishermen’s cuisine. The service is very friendly, professional, and attentive to detail.

We highly recommend this restaurant: the food is excellent, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the attention to customers really makes a difference!

Sophia was great to us and also was the one that recommended all the menu. All was perfect, paella a bit on the salty side but this may be just our taste. All in all it was wonderful and would visit again.

Fantastic restaurant! I had lunch here with a business associate and truly enjoyed every moment. Even though I don’t speak Spanish and wasn’t exactly sure what would be served, one thing was certain: it would be seafood — and that’s right up my alley. The table was generously filled with beautifully presented dishes, each one a feast for both the eyes and the palate. Everything was perfectly prepared, incredibly fresh, and full of flavor. The quality really stands out. A lunch that genuinely impressed me and is absolutely worth repeating. Highly recommended!

My fiance and I experienced a wonderful dinner here while staying in Tarragona. It started with being welcomed by Samir, he answered any questions we had in a friendly manner. He was timely with all of our requests. Every dish we ordered were delicious and well balanced. The stand out being the goat cheese salad, the sweet and savory together, amazing. And Samir even ended our experience with lemoncello shots, not expected, but much appreciated.
